Our Team

Our team is led by Glenn and Linette Weimer, who have been designing and building custom homes in the Iowa City area for over three decades. They believe that the home building process should be a personal and rewarding experience, and that building trust is just as important as the home they build for their clients. Glenn and Linette were born and raised in Riverside, Iowa, and have lived in Iowa City for over 30 years. They have two children, Angela and Christopher, who are also part of the family business.

Our Process

At Weimer Construction, we believe you shouldn't have to put your life on hold for construction. Our simple yet effective process makes construction easier than ever before. It starts with an initial meeting to establish the scope of the project, followed by the creation of a preliminary design and guesstimate. Once a design concept is established, a buildable plan will be presented along with accompanying specifications, a Home Construction Agreement, and a final estimate. Throughout the construction phase, we use Buildertrend Construction Software to keep you informed and up-to-date on the progress of your project. Finally, when the project is deemed to be substantially complete, a walkthrough will be scheduled to address any remaining issues, and we provide a 12-month warranty period with scheduled walkthroughs at 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months.
