Relate, Rejuvenate, Restore - Your Whole Person

At Southern Tier Health Care System, we're committed to improving the health and wellness of our rural communities in southwestern New York. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we've been working collaboratively for over 25 years to address the unique health and wellness needs of Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties.

Our Mission

Our mission is to leverage new technologies to scale access to healthcare across our communities, and to deliver the most holistic care possible. We partner with healthcare providers, parents & caregivers, educators, law enforcement, faith leaders, and other public health and social services officials to identify and remove barriers to healthcare. Our programs range from training and accrediting local EMS agencies to promoting mental health by educating community members in life-saving techniques such as Narcan training, Stop the Bleed, and suicide prevention.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including emergency medicine, education and training, and telehealth. Our emergency medicine program provides training and resources for local EMS agencies, including upcoming EMS courses, current provider resources, and PCR EMS protocols. Our education and training program offers annual skills training, DOH inspection prep, and EMS agency updates. We also provide telehealth services, including room locations, resources, and troubleshooting.

In addition to our healthcare services, we also provide support for our communities through our Safe Kids program, which aims to prevent childhood injuries and deaths. We also offer overdose prevention resources, including Narcan training and prescription drug safety education. Our caregivers' navigation program provides support for caregivers, and our sexual assault forensic examiner program provides training and resources for healthcare providers.

Our Impact

Through our collaborative efforts, we've made a significant impact on the health and wellness of our rural communities. We've trained hundreds of healthcare providers and community members in life-saving techniques, and we've provided thousands of hours of telehealth services to individuals in need. We're proud of our work, and we're committed to continuing to innovate and improve our services to meet the evolving needs of our communities.
