Our Story

For over 70 years, three generations of the Blue family have been building a reputation for exceptional quality, service, and dependability in both custom homes and commercial buildings. Our story began in the post-war era when Roscoe L. Blue Sr. founded Blue Realty and Construction Company after returning from military service in World War II. With a larger-than-life personality, he served the Fayetteville community as a County Commissioner, President of the local Board of Realtors, and was a member of numerous civic organizations.

Our Family Legacy

Roscoe L. Blue Sr. was an active Realtor, Developer, Appraiser, and Builder. His son, R. Leighton Blue Jr., joined the company in 1968 and excelled in the building aspect of the business. By 1974, Leighton oversaw all construction. With a gift for design, he spanned from classic to contemporary. His reputation for exceptional quality, service, and dependability in both custom homes and commercial building set Blue Realty and Construction Company apart.
