Sailing, Racing, and Cruising

YYC Boat Club

In addition to our cruising fleet, we offer a boat club that provides members with access to a diverse selection of boats, without the burden of ownership or maintenance. Our boat club is an affordable and convenient way for members to enjoy the pleasures of sailing, without the financial and logistical commitments that come with owning a boat.

The Youngstown Chase

One of the club's most storied and beloved traditions is the Youngstown Chase, an annual race that attracts sailors from all over the Great Lakes. Established in 1912, the Youngstown Chase is a challenging and exciting event that tests the skills and endurance of even the most experienced sailors. Adult & Junior Sailing

The Youngstown Yacht Club is committed to fostering the next generation of sailors, and offers a variety of programs for both adult and junior sailors.
