Community Intervention Associates

At Community Health Associates, we are dedicated to serving the mental and physical health care services needs of individuals throughout all communities in Arizona. Our journey began in 2004 when our founder, Doreen M. Lewis, had a vision to provide mental health care services to all individuals in need, including the underserved and the uninsured. Today, we are proud to have grown into a comprehensive health care organization with multiple locations across Southern Arizona, offering a wide range of services to individuals of all ages.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide Arizona communities with a comprehensive array of high-quality behavioral health treatment services, substance abuse rehabilitation, and prevention services that respect the culture and ethnicity of our members. We prioritize the needs of the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved populations in an ongoing effort to foster hope, strength, and self-determination in those we serve.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to address the mental and physical health care needs of our communities. Our outpatient psychiatric health services provide individuals with a personalized treatment plan to achieve their mental health goals. Our physical health services focus on prevention and provide diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical issues. Our behavioral health services specialize in addiction and work with individuals, families, and support systems to manage behavioral health symptoms. We also offer justice involved services, working with individuals involved with adult probation to provide comprehensive support.

Our Locations

We have multiple locations across Southern Arizona, including Yuma, Tucson, San Luis, Parker, Casa Grande, Nogales, Bisbee, and Douglas. Our dedicated staff and teams strive to deliver the highest level of care to our patients, and we are committed to serving our communities with compassion, respect, and excellence.
