Quality Childcare & Preschool Services
Bright Light Early Learning Center has been providing high-quality early childhood education since 1989. Originally opened by Nancy Gosselin, our center was created to offer working families affordable yet exceptional childcare in a warm and nurturing environment. Our programs are designed to meet children's social, emotional, and cognitive needs while providing flexible options for modern families. With a dedicated team of professionals, many with over a decade of service at Bright Light, we offer infant care, toddler programs, preschool education, school-age care, and exciting summer camps.

Our teachers are deeply committed to their work, with many enrolling their own children in our programs, ensuring quality remains forefront. Over the years, we've grown from a small residence to one of Chester County's most respected childcare providers while maintaining our founding philosophy of creating a home away from home for every child.

Services
Infant Care
Bright Light's infant program serves children from six weeks to approximately 18 months old. Our low teacher to infant ratio allows for plenty of holding, cuddling, and personal attention that babies need most. Infants explore their world through their senses, with teachers encouraging development through talking, singing, and reading throughout the day. The program emphasizes sensory stimulation through colorful toys and provides ample space for motor skill development.
Toddler Programs
Our toddler programs serve children from 18 months to approximately three and a half years old. The program acknowledges toddlers' needs for autonomy and independence while meeting those needs in a structured environment. Children participate in circle time activities including reading, singing, and theme-based learning, along with teacher-directed games and art projects. The curriculum develops self-help skills like handwashing and dressing while encouraging communication, sharing, and social skills development in a safe, nurturing setting.
Preschool Education
Bright Light's preschool programs serve children from three and a half to five years old, preparing them for kindergarten. The curriculum emphasizes pre-reading and pre-math skills with weekly alphabet instruction and counting activities. Children engage in theme-based learning through art, music, social studies, science, and dramatic play. Circle time includes weather discussions and calendar activities. The program balances structured learning with creative play to develop essential academic and social skills for elementary school readiness.
School-Age Care
Bright Light provides before and after school care for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Transportation is provided to and from local elementary schools. The after-school program focuses on homework assistance with individual tutoring as needed, ensuring assignments are completed before parents arrive. Kindergarten students receive curriculum-based activities that reinforce school lessons, focusing on reading, math, and time concepts. The program includes structured learning time as well as free play both indoors and outdoors in our 2,500 square foot dedicated space.
Summer Camp Programs
Bright Light's summer camp program offers exciting activities for children ages 6-12 during school breaks. The curriculum combines active outdoor programs with quiet instructional time, organized around weekly themes. On-site activities include arts and crafts, science projects, and sports, while three to four days per week feature field trips to local attractions like Marsh Creek State Park, Dorney Park, and Dutch Wonderland. The flexible program allows enrollment for any duration from two weeks to the entire summer with customizable schedules to accommodate family needs.
