Wags2Whiskers Pet Services, LLC is a pet care company founded in 2013 by Tom and Lois Barta, who are both Certified Dog Trainers (CDT). Our business is built on the passion for helping pets have the best life they can. With our dedication to reliability, trustworthiness, and a commitment to making life easier for pet owners, we have become a trusted partner for many families in the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, Barrington (Lake County), Long Grove, South Mundelein, Wauconda, and Deer Park areas.

Daily Dog Walks and Playtime

We also offer an outdoor off-leash dog park experience at local dog parks and a new indoor facility for a smaller, more contained environment.

Basic Obedience/Manners Training

Obedience/Manners training isn't just essential for a well-behaved dog; it's crucial for their mental and physical well-being. Lois Barta CDT, our in-house certified dog trainer, offers private dog lessons tailored to your and your dog's specific needs. These lessons cover various topics, such as sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and leash walking, addressing common challenges you may be facing. We specialize in positive reinforcement training methods, which focus on rewarding good behavior and encouraging a strong bond between you and your dog.

Puppy Training

Before you bring your new puppy home, we'll help you prepare by discussing basic puppy essentials and providing advice on socialization stages, puppy teething, and potty training. Our puppy training sessions help your new family member get off to a great start, setting them up for a happy, well-adjusted life.

Cat Care
