Our Story

Our founder, Cheryl Barbara Stark, hopped the ferry to Martha's Vineyard in the summer of 1966 to teach jewelry making. Little did she know that this would be the start of a lifelong passion and a business that would become a beloved institution on the island. With a background in silversmithing and jewelry making from the School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Cheryl brought her expertise and creativity to the island, crafting one-of-a-kind pieces that captured the essence of Martha's Vineyard.
