Our History

Eichler Lumber has a rich history that dates back to 1974. The original site of the company was on HWY 65, halfway between Lincoln and Warsaw, Missouri. Buddy Eichler, the founder, started out as Eichler Home Improvement Company and was involved in the steel siding business. However, he recognized the need for a full-service lumber company in Benton County. Along with his wife, Dorothy, and store manager Rick Lewis, they helped many lake cabin owners and local residents with their repair and remodeling projects. Their son, Buddy Paul Eichler Jr., joined the team at the age of 11, learning from his father. Over the years, the Eichler family has been dedicated to helping customers build their dreams and improve their homes and communities.
