Denver Ballet Guild

The Denver Ballet Guild is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that has been supporting dance arts in the Colorado community for over 35 years. Our mission is to stimulate interest in ballet and other forms of dance; to promote dance at all levels; to conduct dance education; to develop audiences; to conduct fundraising activities to support and promote dance; and to disburse funds for such purposes.

As a volunteer-driven organization, our 1,200+ members work actively in the community to promote the dance arts through fundraisers and member programs. We believe that dance has the power to bring people together and enrich our lives.

Our Services

We offer a range of services and programs to support the dance community. Our Community Enrichment Program provides grants to Metro Denver dance companies, promoting a diverse arts community and supporting innovation and dance development. Our Showcase of Dance and In-School Programs bring elementary school children to live professional dance performances, providing educational materials and bus transportation.

Through our fundraising efforts, we provide financial support to the performing arts community, awarding over $85,000 annually in grants to local dance companies. These grants have supported a range of organizations, including 3rd Law Dance, Ballet Ariel, Boulder Ballet, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Colorado Ballet, Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Kim Robards Dance, Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet, Wonderbound, and Zikr Dance Ensemble.

Our History

The Denver Ballet Guild has been a part of the Colorado community for over 35 years. Founded in 1979, we have been dedicated to promoting the dance arts and supporting the performing arts community. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, always staying true to our mission and values.
