At Port City Films, we're a full-service video production company and post-production house based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Our team is dedicated to developing original content for a wide range of clients and projects around the globe, while providing support and services for local independent film, corporate, and commercial productions across the Carolinas.

Writing & Development (Pre-Production)

It all starts with a great story. Our reputation has been built on generating award-winning original content, and it begins with creative development. Whether you're starting from a blank slate, have some ideas that need refinement, or have a solid concept that requires some fine-tuning, our pre-production team can take your project to the next level. Our experts will work with you to develop a concept, create a treatment, and write a script that brings your vision to life.

Video Production

Our producers are dedicated to finding creative ways to tell every story, and our production crews use the latest equipment, techniques, and software to bring those stories to life. We don't specialize in any one type of production, and our creative team has produced or supported the production of independent films, television, commercials, and corporate videos around the globe.

Post-Production

At Port City Films, we're committed to building Wilmington's first full-service post-production house. Currently, we offer a range of post-production services in-house, including editing, visual effects, color correction, grading, foley recording, sound design, and motion graphics. Our team has experience producing independent film, television, and hundreds of commercial and corporate projects.

Equipment Rentals

We're proud to offer a variety of video production gear for rent, including ARRI ALEXA MINI, SONY FX9, SONY FX3, CANON C300 II, and more. Studio Rentals

Our Wilmington studio space is a 2,500 sqft production studio with 14-16ft ceilings, a 20x40ft lighting grid (12.5ft tall), a DIT/audio engineer room, a sound-treated recording booth, a hair and makeup/green room, editing suite, producer's office, general meeting spaces, and a full kitchen. This studio space is perfect for commercial, corporate, and independent film productions of all sizes.
