Our Story

At Guido's Chicago Meat & Deli, our journey began in the early 20th century in the western suburbs of Chicago. Four brothers, Joseph, Luigi, James, and Pasquale Guido, embarked on a mission to bring a taste of Italy to the people of Chicago. Their fine Italian market and full-line grocery store quickly became a beloved institution, with seven locations opening around the Berkeley and Addison suburbs over the next two decades.

Our Legacy

As the Guido brothers continued their journey, they expanded their business to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1983. Joe Guido, the youngest brother, founded Guido's of Chicago Meat & Deli, bringing with him his family's traditions and recipes. With a passion for quality and dedication to excellence, Guido's has become a staple in the Scottsdale community, offering an array of authentic Italian groceries, pizzas, lasagna, spaghetti, pasta, Italian meats, and Italian cheeses.
