Home Sweet Home

At Home Sweet Home Care, our mission is to empower individuals to live more independently and have control over their lives, by offering in-home and community supports that make living safely at home an option. Our team of Personal Care Attendants is trained to provide a wide range of attendant care and homemaker tasks, including assistance, personal care, general home cleaning, food preparation, and prescription pick-up, among others. With our help, individuals can maintain their independence and enjoy the comfort of living in their own homes.

As a division of ATTIC, Inc., an organization that has served people of all ages with disabilities for over 25 years, Home Sweet Home Care brings a personal understanding of the unique needs of each and every individual. Our office staff works closely with our field staff to provide tailored solutions that address the specific challenges and issues facing the consumers we serve.

Our Staff

Our Personal Care Attendants (PCA's) are thoroughly screened and trained to provide all homemaker and attendant care tasks. We conduct criminal history checks, drug screenings, motor vehicle record checks, and Office of the Attorney General Medicaid fraud checks on all staff. We also provide training using the Indiana Home and Hospice Care Foundation curriculum for PCA's. Our trainer has been trained and certified through the IAHHC Foundation.

We understand that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to caregiving. That's why we offer the option of you choosing a current caregiver, friend, or relative not living with you, to go through our training program and become your paid caregiver. They are under no obligation to provide care to any of our other consumers, but this can be an option if they are interested.

Attendant Care Activities

Our attendant care services include a variety of activities, such as:

• Bathing and showers and partial or bed bathing
• Oral hygiene
• Hair care and application of cosmetics
• Hand and foot care
• Intact skin care
• Dressing
• Transfer between bed and chair, without assistive devices
• Assist with bedpan, bedside commode, toilet
• Incontinent or involuntary care
• Emptying urine collection and colostomy bags
• Meal planning, preparation, and clean-up
• Medication reminders
• Companionship

Homemaker Activities

Our homemaker services include a variety of activities, such as:

• Cleaning and organizing the home
• Doing laundry and changing bed linens
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Meal planning, preparation, and clean-up
• Assisting with pet care
• Providing transportation to appointments
• Managing finances and paying bills
• Medication reminders
• Companionship

Licensed and Certified

Home Sweet Home Care is licensed through the Indiana Department of Health, certified by the US Veterans Administration, and is a member of the Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care. You can learn more About Us here.
