Our Story and Mission

For nearly 20 years, Aksamit Transportation, Inc. (ATI) has been dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and needed transportation services for Minnesota's school children. Our family-run business started with a fleet of just six buses and has since grown to a modern fleet of nearly 100 technologically advanced and well-maintained school buses and vans. We operate out of Long Prairie and serve multiple K-12 districts across the area. Our mission is to provide the safest means of transportation possible, achieved by hiring qualified personnel, utilizing quality school buses, and staying up to date on the latest laws and rules governing school transportation. We also strive to offer our services at an economical price, ensuring every child who steps onto one of our buses does so with a smile.

Our Difference

Our services include daily to and from school transportation, extracurricular activities, early childhood, and special needs transportation. We work individually with school districts to develop tailored contracts based on each school's specific needs. We are proud members of the Minnesota School Bus Operators Association and actively support community events and fundraisers.
