Our Services

We offer a wide range of surveying services, including transportation and engineering design surveys, construction surveying, boundary surveying, and more. Our transportation experience includes working with the Montana Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Alaska Department of Transportation (AKDOT) on projects such as right-of-way surveys, project control, base mapping, and surveying infrastructure projects. We have also worked with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) on geodetic control and aeronautical surveys.

In the oil and gas industry, we have extensive experience in surveying for pipeline projects, including the TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline in eastern Montana. We have also worked on gas midstream pipeline surveying, gas pipeline work, and supporting oil and gas development on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

Our boundary surveying services include working with the Forest Service, BLM, Indian Health Service (IHS), and private entities on projects such as national forest service work, forest service boundary surveys, retracements, and water boundary surveys. We also specialize in lot/boundary surveys and fence line staking, elevation, and flood plain surveys.

Our team consists of experienced and licensed professional land surveyors, including JT Essex and Zamian Essex. JT has 24 years of experience providing land surveying services in boundary, construction, route, engineering design, aeronautical, and GPS surveys from Wyoming to Alaska. Zamian has 15 years of experience providing land surveying services in boundary, construction, route, engineering design, mine quality control, and GPS surveys from Wyoming to Alaska.
