What materials are accepted at recycling trailers?
Our recycling trailers accept cardboard, paperboard, #1 & #2 plastics, aluminum cans, steel/tin cans, and clear/brown/green glass containers. Shredded paper in clear bags is also accepted.
When are special collection events scheduled?
Annual events for appliances, electronics, hazardous waste, and scrap tires are held June-July (electronics), August (appliances), and September (tires) at designated county locations.
How should household hazardous waste be disposed?
Schedule hazardous waste disposal during our annual collection events. Bring materials in original containers with labels intact to designated drop-off locations.
Are plastic bags recyclable in our program?
Plastic bags (including grocery, trash, and feed bags) cannot be processed through our recycling trailers due to equipment limitations.
