Founded in 1919 by James Manafort, our journey began as the New Britain House Wrecking Company, specializing in demolition work. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include excavation, concrete foundation work, demolition, remediation, and abatement, as well as nuclear decommissioning, civil, utility, rail, and mass transit construction.

Our story began over a century ago, in 1919, when James Manafort founded the New Britain House Wrecking Company. Over the decades, we have established a superior reputation in the industry and have been recognized as a top demolitions contractor by Engineering News Record year after year.
