Company History

The founder of Backyard Lagoon LLC, "Joey" Magallanez, was born and raised in Seguin, Texas. He was born into a family of constructions workers and began learning trade skills at an early age. Mr. Magallanez learned about quality, pride, and integrity; characteristics that were instilled in him by his grandfather and father. "Joey" has over 20 years of experience in building trades, which includes carpentry, flat work, landscaping, and the construction of swimming pools. Prior to establishing Backyard Lagoons, he worked in various construction companies where he honed his skills and developed a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
