Transform Your Life with Embodied Insight Therapy
At TRIBE Psychotherapy, we specialize in helping high-performing, self-aware individuals overcome trauma and anxiety through a unique mind-body approach called Embodied Insight. With over 15 years of experience, including a decade working with veterans at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, our founder Mary Horne has developed a methodology that integrates evidence-based therapies like EMDR, Parts Work, and ACT with mindfulness practices. Our practice is built on the understanding that true healing requires addressing both cognitive and physical aspects of trauma.

We empower clients to break free from overthinking, overwhelm, and anxiety by teaching skills that create lasting emotional freedom. Our approach has been refined through extensive work with complex trauma cases, including specialized training in somatic integration and trauma-informed yoga. We maintain strict professional standards through continuous education and certifications in the latest therapeutic techniques. Our commitment to client-centered care ensures that each individual receives personalized attention tailored to their unique needs and life circumstances.

Services
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) uses bilateral stimulation to help process traumatic memories while maintaining present-moment awareness. This evidence-based approach reduces emotional distress and physical sensations associated with past trauma. Clients develop new insights and healthier coping mechanisms through structured eight-phase treatment protocols.
Parts Work
Parts Work therapy identifies and integrates different aspects of the self using Ego State Therapy and Internal Family Systems principles. This approach resolves internal conflicts that manifest as external stress. Clients learn to harmonize competing needs and develop compassionate self-relationships through structured inner dialogue techniques.
ACT Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy teaches clients to separate from unhelpful thoughts while focusing on core values. This mindfulness-based approach builds psychological flexibility through six core processes. Clients develop skills to take meaningful action without being controlled by difficult emotions or past experiences.
Mindfulness Training
Mindfulness practices cultivate non-judgmental awareness of current experiences through sensory focus techniques. This training interrupts automatic stress responses and builds emotional regulation capacity. Clients learn to observe thoughts and feelings without becoming overwhelmed by them during daily life.
Trauma Recovery
Our trauma recovery program combines multiple evidence-based approaches in a phased treatment plan. Starting with nervous system stabilization, progressing to memory processing, and culminating in integration of new patterns. The mind-body approach addresses both cognitive and somatic manifestations of trauma for comprehensive healing.
