Your Fabrication Problems End Here

Camp Newaygo is a year-round independent non-profit summer camp located in mid-western Michigan, nestled in the heart of the Manistee National Forest Region. Our picturesque 104-acre property boasts four pristine lakes, a private island, and an array of facilities that cater to a diverse range of camp programs, retreats, and community events. Since our inception in 1926, we have been dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and flourish, both as individuals and as part of a community.

Our History and Values

Our organization was established on the core values of Resilience (R), Independence (I), Growth (G), and a love for the outdoors. We believe that every child should have access to a safe space where they can develop grit, self-reliance, creativity, decision-making skills, and a deep appreciation for nature. As part of TrueNorth Community Services, we strive to provide more than 80 community-based programs and services, empowering individuals and families throughout Michigan.

Camp Newaygo offers a variety of summer programs tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our campers. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and the State of Michigan, demonstrating our commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, health, and program design. Our facilities undergo rigorous on-site reviews to ensure we meet or exceed over 300 industry standards for summer camps, offering children an enriching and memorable camp experience.
