Our First Half Century

Bright Wood has a rich history that spans over 60 years. We started as a small company that manufactured door frames and later expanded to produce Fisher-Price toys and baby crib components. Today, we are the largest independent manufacturer of window and patio door components and engineered dimension lumber in the U.S.

Engineered Dimension

At Bright Wood, we specialize in engineered dimension lumber, which offers several advantages over traditional lumber. Our engineered dimension is longer, stronger, and straighter than regular lumber, making it ideal for framing houses and other large structures.

We can produce engineered dimension lumber in various lengths, from 8' to 60', on demand, to meet the specific needs of our customers. We use smaller trees to produce engineered dimension lumber, which helps us use wood more responsibly and economically.

Cut-to-Size Cut Stock

At Bright Wood, we offer cut-to-size cut stock services that can help our customers save time and money. We can custom cut various wood species to the specific dimensions required by our customers, reducing waste and optimizing material usage.
