Our History

The "K" in K Motorsports comes from Kromminga Motors, which was established in 1973 by Art Kromminga. Art purchased the implement business from his father-in-law and began selling Polaris Industries' full line of ATVs and snowmobiles in 1986. Over time, the dealership expanded, adding and subtracting product lines and locations. In 2004, Kromminga Motors purchased K Motorsports and added Polaris to the Maquoketa location, alongside Arctic Cat, Kawasaki, and Suzuki lines.

Today, we operate three locations: Monticello, which deals in new or used implements and power sports; Vinton, which focuses on new or used farm equipment and used ATVs and side by sides; and Maquoketa, which primarily handles power sports. Our family-owned business continues to thrive, thanks to our dedication to our customers and our commitment to providing the best products and services in the industry.
