In addition to our vintage offerings, we also have a variety of modern items available. Our goal is to provide a unique shopping experience that appeals to a wide range of tastes and styles. While the majority of our items are not available online, we do have a few to pick from in our online store. We encourage you to browse several categories of gifts, antiques, collectibles, furniture, and home decor.

Tall Grass Tours

Another unique offering at the Liberty House is our Tall Grass Tours. These tours give you the chance to experience all that Seward County has to offer, from the comfort of the Liberty House. We'll take you on a guided tour of the area, pointing out points of interest and sharing stories about the history and culture of this special place.

A Rich History

The Liberty House has a rich history that dates back to the Goehner family, who immigrated from Germany to Nebraska. The family played a significant role in building many of the downtown Seward buildings, and the town of Goehner is named after them.

I celebrated the 15th Anniversary of operating the Liberty House Bed & Breakfast and Antique Shop in 2017, and I'm proud to continue the tradition of providing a warm and welcoming space for visitors to Seward.

With Interstate 80 running east and west and Highway 15 going north and south, it makes Seward County easily accessible from any direction. It's a pleasure to browse the little shops in all of the communities found in Seward County, offering a wide variety of goods and services.
