Who We Are

The Lapeer County Medical Care Facility, known affectionately as "Suncrest, " is a 202-bed skilled nursing facility serving the needs of Lapeer County residents who require long-term care and rehabilitation. We are proud of our long history of serving this community, evolving over time to better meet the changing needs of our residents.

Our Services

Suncrest offers a comprehensive range of services designed to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. We are dedicated to creating an individualized care plan for each resident, ensuring their specific needs are met with respect and dignity.

Our skilled nursing team provides 24/7 care, including medication management, wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We understand that every resident is unique, and our therapists work closely with each individual to develop a personalized plan to restore function, maximize independence, and enhance quality of life. Additionally, we offer a dedicated 32-bed secure Dementia Unit with specialized programming designed to support residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
