M.A.R.S. HSEQ is a trusted name in the recycling and decommissioning industry, with over 50 years of experience in providing quality services to our clients. Our company was founded in 1971 by Dwight "Butch" Caton, Sr., and has since grown to become the largest barge dismantler and offshore decommissioning provider in the United States. We have recently expanded our scope of offerings with the acquisition of a shipyard, providing ship repair, conversions, and overhauls of all types of vessels.

Our Facilities

We have multiple facilities located throughout the United States and Denmark, including:

• Frederikshavn, Denmark: Our European large-scale recycling facility is located in Frederikshavn, Denmark. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to safely and efficiently process large-scale recycling projects and has the capacity to recycle in excess of 200,000 tons of metal annually.

• Gibson, Louisiana - Headquarters: Our offshore platform and rig decommissioning facility is located at 499 Powhatten Court, Gibson, LA on Bayou Black about 20 miles from downtown Houma. This facility is equipped to handle all aspects of offshore platform and rig decommissioning.

• Waggaman, Louisiana: Located at 8900 River Rd., Waggaman, La 70123 is a 30 acres facility on the Mississippi River. The Waggaman yard is a versatile location for M.A.R.S., Inc. Our facility has the capability to dismantle barges, ships, and offshore drilling rigs.

• Houma, Louisiana: Located at 115 Gulf Access Rd Houma Louisiana 70363, our Houma facility offers recycling services.

• Mobile, Alabama: Our facility in Mobile, Alabama offers ship and barge dismantling services at 601 South Royal Street Mobile AL 36603.

• Pascagoula, Mississippi: Our Pascagoula facility offers recycling services at 601 Bayou Casotte Pkwy Pascagoula MS 39581.
