Clay Hill Campground

Located along the Freshwater Coast of Lincoln County, Georgia, we offer three secluded campgrounds that are truly a getaway from it all. Clarks Hill - Strom Thurmond Lake is the largest U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake east of the Mississippi River, providing a serene environment for camping, fishing, and relaxation. Our campgrounds are unique, offering a chance to kick back, enjoy nature, and make lasting memories with your family.

Services and Amenities

All of our campgrounds feature large expanded campsites that allow you to stretch your legs and make your campsite your own. Each site is equipped with picnic tables, private fire pits and grills, and fish cleaning stations. We also have boat launching ramps, dump stations, electrical hook-ups, and shower/bath houses available. Whether you're looking to camp, fish, or enjoy water sports, our parks are perfect for soaking up the scenery or planning a family getaway.

About Our Campgrounds

We have three distinctive campgrounds to choose from: Broad River Campground, Clay Hill Campground, and Hester's Ferry Campground. Each offers a unique experience, from the historic and quiet surroundings of Broad River to the excellent fishing opportunities at Clay Hill, and the ultimate get-away-from-it-all experience at Hester's Ferry. With a total of 31 campsites, including double and triple sites for rental, there's something for every size of family or group.
