At Atlanta Professional Dance Academy, we are dedicated to providing top-notch ballet training to ambitious dancers of all ages. Our academy was founded in 1997 by Mr. Wei Dongsheng, a former principal dancer of both the National Ballet of China and Atlanta Ballet. With a mission to build pre-professional dancers with ambition and focus, we offer comprehensive training in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas De Duex, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Chinese Folk Dance.
Our Story
Our journey began with a vision to create a world-class ballet academy that would provide exceptional training to dancers of all levels. Today, we are proud to have built one of the most successful training programs for ambitious dancers, with students placing at almost every major ballet competition, including YAGP, World Ballet Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, and American Ballet Competition. Our dancers have also appeared on shows such as NBC's America's Got Talent and CCTV's Amazing Chinese.

Our mission is to go beyond dance and build students who are passionate and believe in their goals. We do this through a rigorous training program and cultural exchange opportunities throughout the world. With relationships both inside and outside the US, we value embracing cultures, growth, and understanding as well as world-class training.
Meet Our Teachers
Our faculty consists of highly experienced and renowned ballet masters, including Mr. Wei Dongsheng, Ms. Jenny Jue Chen, Ms. Li Mi, Ms. Sara Wang, and Ms. Di Lu. Each of our teachers brings a unique set of skills and expertise to the academy, ensuring that our students receive the best possible training.
Programs
We offer a range of programs to cater to dancers of all levels and ages. Our programs include Ballet for the Littles, Intermediate Ballet, Pre-Professional Ballet, Private and Supplemental Training, and more. We also offer annual productions of classic ballets, giving our students the opportunity to perform on stage and gain valuable experience.
