Our Story
The company's history began in 1947 with the construction of the Weaverville Sawmill by the Vanzee Family. After several ownership changes and a devastating fire in 1952, the mill was rebuilt and reopened in 1954. The Schmidbauer family purchased the mill in 1981 and retooled it to focus on producing high-quality, wane-free products. Since then, we have continued to grow and adapt, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
