Our Story
The Warehouse Restaurants are more than just eateries; they are steeped in history and dedicated to providing a unique dining experience. The Coshocton location, housed in a building constructed around 1838, tells a tale of transformation. Originally built by Arnold Medbery, this structure served not only as a warehouse for canal cargo but also as a bustling general merchandise store. For a fleeting moment, it even served as the local Roscoe Post Office, adding another layer to its rich past. Designated as a step in the Roscoe Village Restoration in 1969, the building was given new life as the village's premier fine dining establishment, a role it continues to fulfill proudly today as The Warehouse Restaurants.
Beyond its intriguing history, the Coshocton location offers a unique three-level dining experience, encompassing a vibrant main floor eatery featuring an extensive menu, spacious banquet facilities on the upper level perfect for celebrations and gatherings, and the warm, inviting ambiance of P.R. Nye's Lock 27 Tavern downstairs. There, patrons can unwind with delicious meals, refreshing drinks, and the infectious energy of live music, all set against the backdrop of a historic space. During the warmer months, the garden court patio, complete with an outdoor bar and live music stage, provides a delightful setting to enjoy the outdoors and the sounds of live entertainment.
