Positive and Negative Feedback from Residents and Employees
Overall, the reviews express mixed opinions about Legacy, a healthcare facility that provides nursing care to seniors. While some reviewers praise the facility for its warm atmosphere, caring staff, and commitment to quality care, others criticize the management, nurses, and care provided to residents.
Caring Environment and Staff
Some reviewers, like Michael Brock, a nurse, and Ricky Hernandez, a outsider, rave about the warm and welcoming environment at Legacy. They praise the DON, Linda, and Unit Manager, Maria, for their leadership and the CNA's for their kindness and hard work. The facility's Administrator, Devin, is also commended by Michael and Devin Lewis, a current employee, for being a wonderful advocate for staff and residents.
Management Issues
On the other hand, several reviewers express dissatisfaction with the management at Legacy. Stephanie Smith and Lindsey Simmons, both former employees, criticize the Director of Nursing, Linda, and Administrator, Devin, for their unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency. Kerri Ofczarzak, a family member of a former resident, is unhappy with the care her mother received and feels that the administration is unresponsive to concerns.
Disappointing Experiences
Stephanie Quintero, whose father was a resident, laments the poor care and lack of communication from the facility's staff. She claims that her father was subjected to inhumane treatment and photographs her complaints, but no one at the facility helped. Dayna Williams, who also used to work at the facility when it was called Generations, praises the facility's new owners, Legacy, for their efforts to improve care.
