At ZCS Engineering & Architecture, we are a team of dedicated professionals who have been serving the Pacific Northwest for over four decades. Our company was founded by Richard Zbinden in 1978 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. At the time, Richard was an engineering professor at Oregon Institute of Technology, and he sought to provide students with real-world engineering experience. This commitment to nurturing talent and fostering growth continues to be a core part of our culture today.

In 2001, Richard and Russ Carter, a graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology, formed Zbinden Carter Engineering, Inc. As the company continued to expand, it eventually became ZCS Engineering & Architecture. Through our growth, we have remained true to our roots and continue to prioritize internships and real-world experience for engineering students.
