Our story began with Rick and Kathy Briggs, who founded the company with the goal of being "honest, professional, and dependable to my employees and customers." Today, under Kathy's leadership, Briggs Transport is recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a woman-owned company. We are proud to be an American-owned company, and safety is our top priority, with an A-plus driving record and an average of 20 years of experience among our drivers.

Our mulching business was started by Frank Briggs in 1985, providing high-quality natural mulch directly from sawmills to our customers. We offer four varieties: natural, red, black, and brown colored shreds, all made from natural materials without any fillers, sawdust, clippings, or tree trimmings. Our commitment to quality and sustainability sets us apart from competitors.

With over 30 trucks, 60 trailers, and 40 employees, we have built a reputation for reliability and excellence. Our client list includes prominent names such as Cummins, Simmons, and Corry Rubber Corporation, among others. We travel over 4 million miles and deliver over 5,000 loads per year, making us one of the most trusted and reliable freight shipping and mulch suppliers in the region.
