Welcome to Kristen Kanze Photography, a business that brings professional portrait photography right to the comfort of your home. Our mission is to capture treasured moments in a relaxed and casual environment, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The story of Kristen Kanze Photography began with a little girl who didn't like having her picture taken. Encouraged by her father and grandfather, both avid amateur photographers, Kristen was given a Kodak 126 camera at the age of ten. From that moment, she found her passion behind the lens instead of in front of it. In 2004, Kristen's sister Jenn gifted her with two rooms in her new home in Pennsylvania, providing Kristen the opportunity to start a new life as a professional photographer.

After building a successful business, the housing market crash in 2008 presented new challenges. However, Kristen's resilience led her to join Bella Baby Photography, a nationwide Hospital Newborn Photography group, in 2009. Today, she continues to work with Bella Baby, creating beautiful memories for families during such a special time in their lives.

Due to medical issues, Kristen has taken a short hiatus from photo sessions. Nonetheless, her online store, The Broads @ Seltzer Shop, offers a variety of handmade soap and eclectic arts and crafts, while she focuses on her recovery. Kristen looks forward to announcing the resumption of limited photo sessions in the near future.

• Family Sessions: Our family portrait sessions capture the love and connection within your family. We believe that the most genuine moments are those that are unposed and unscripted. Our family sessions are filled with laughter and fun, enabling us to capture the true spirit of your family.

• Children Sessions: Our children portrait sessions are designed to showcase the innocence and joy of childhood. We understand that children have short attention spans and may become restless during photo sessions. Our approach is flexible and patient, allowing us to create beautiful images that truly represent your child's personality.

• Pet Sessions: Pets are an important part of the family, and we believe they should be included in your family portrait. Whether you have a dog, cat, bird, or even a horse, we strive to capture the unique bond between you and your pet.

• Natural Light Sessions: Our natural light sessions take place in the comfort of your home or an outdoor location of your choice. These sessions are priced at $250 for one hour, with additional 30-minute increments available for $50 each.

• Studio Light Sessions: Our studio light sessions offer a more formal and polished look, complete with professional lighting and backdrops. These sessions are held at your home and include setup and teardown time, lasting a total of three hours. The price for these sessions starts at $300.
