Motions Dance Studio

At Motions Dance Studio, we believe that everyone has an inner dancer waiting to be discovered. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow, and express themselves through dance. We are a family-oriented studio located in the heart of the Treasure Valley, dedicated to teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, cheerleading, tumbling, capoeira, and hip hop to students aged 18 months to adults.

Our studio is a place where students can not only develop a love for dance but also build lasting friendships, learn valuable life skills, and experience the joy of performing on stage. Our instructors are passionate about dance and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to dance, regardless of their financial or personal circumstances, which is why we offer a Gift of Dance scholarship program and an Adopt A Dancer program.

Our Services

At Motions Dance Studio, we offer a variety of classes and programs to suit every student's needs and interests. Our class schedule includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, cheerleading, tumbling, capoeira, and hip hop classes for students of all ages and skill levels. We also offer private lessons for those who prefer one-on-one instruction or need additional practice.

In addition to our regular studio classes, we have competitive dance teams for students who are ready to take their dancing skills to the next level. Our dance teams, including the Starburst Team, Meteorite Team, Interstellar Team, Lunar Eclipse, Supernova Team, Light Benders Team, Zero Gravity Team, and Acro Team, provide students with the opportunity to experience dance at a new, fun level. Team members will participate in various performances throughout the year, which helps build their confidence, friendships, and skills.

Performances

At Motions Dance Studio, we believe that performing is an essential part of the dance experience. It allows students to showcase their hard work and talents, build confidence, and develop stage presence. Throughout the year, our students have numerous opportunities to perform in various shows and events, including our annual Spring Recital. We also offer general performance information, performance fees, and performance dates and times to help our students and their families prepare for these exciting events.

We also provide a calendar of important dates, including registration deadlines, class schedules, and performance dates, to help keep everyone organized and on track.
