Meet Dr. Kristen Knecht

Our orthodontist, Dr. Kristen Knecht, is a highly skilled and dedicated professional with a passion for creating beautiful smiles. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Knecht attended Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, graduating second in her class. Dr. Knecht is a member of numerous professional societies for outstanding academic and clinical performance, including the C. Edmund Kells Honorary Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.

Dr. Knecht's journey into orthodontics began when she spent time in a local orthodontist's office before pursuing her DDS degree. She quickly realized that this specialty was a perfect fit for her and her personality. As a perfectionist who loves "attention-to-detail, " she was seeking a professional fit that would allow her disposition to impact people's lives in a profound and positive way.
