At the Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center, we believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their highest potential. Our mission is to provide neurological, orthopedic, and developmental therapy in a compassionate environment, regardless of a family's ability to pay. We understand that every child is unique and has different needs, which is why we offer a wide range of services including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and dyslexia tutoring.

Meet the Staff

Our team at MCRC is dedicated and passionate about helping children overcome their challenges. We have twenty licensed therapists, five certified Dyslexia tutors, three equine specialists, and a supportive administration. Each member of our staff is committed to providing the highest quality care and support to our children and their families.

At MCRC, we believe that early therapeutic intervention is crucial. We offer helpful information and resources for parents living with a special needs child. Our goal is to provide parents with the tools they need to support their child's development and well-being.

History

MCRC has a long and rich history of serving children in the Permian Basin. We have been providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as dyslexia tutoring, to children with all kinds of diagnoses. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include aquatic therapy, dance/movement therapy, hippotherapy, orthotic clinics, and therapeutic riding.

Services

At MCRC, we offer a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs of each child. These services include:

• Occupational Therapy: Our occupational therapists help children develop the skills they need for daily living and independence.

• Physical Therapy: Our physical therapists work with children to improve their mobility, strength, and balance.

• Speech Therapy: Our speech therapists help children develop communication skills and overcome speech disorders.

• Dyslexia Tutoring: Our certified tutors provide one-on-one instruction to help children with dyslexia overcome their reading challenges.

• Aquatic Therapy: Our aquatic therapy program uses water to help children improve their mobility and strength in a fun and supportive environment.

• Equine Programs: Our equine programs use horseback riding and other equine-assisted activities to help children improve their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.

• Unlimited Dance Company: Our dance program provides children with disabilities the opportunity to express themselves through movement and dance.

• We Are The World Camp: Our summer camp program offers children with disabilities a fun and supportive environment to make new friends, learn new skills, and have a great time.
