Little People Day Care School

At Little People's Community Preschool, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and engaging environment to learn and grow. Our preschool has been a staple in the Kerrisdale community since 1974, providing a unique and interactive learning experience for children aged 3 and 4. Our dedicated team of fully qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and support staff are committed to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters a love of learning, social skills, and creativity in every child.

Our Classes

Little People's Community Preschool offers two classes running from September to June each year: a morning class for 3-year-olds and an afternoon class for 4-year-olds. Our classes are specifically tailored to meet the different learning goals for both age groups, led by fully qualified ECE teachers and an industry-leading adult-to-child ratio. Our 3's Class is designed for children born in 2021, while our 4's Class is designed for children born in 2020. Both classes are carefully crafted to provide a balance of structured and unstructured play, allowing children to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.

Learning through Play

Our preschool is built on the philosophy of "learning through play." We believe that children learn best when they are engaged, active, and having fun. Our experienced teachers create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that encourages children to explore, experiment, and learn through hands-on activities, games, and projects. From art and music to science and literacy, our curriculum is designed to be both fun and educational, preparing children for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.
