Our Custom Homes Division specializes in high-end custom homes and challenging remodels. We work with great builders and visionary architects and designers on exceptional projects. Our team provides an enjoyable painting experience while developing long-lasting relationships with our clients. We understand the importance of getting the job done right and on schedule, and we have established a reputation for doing just that.

Repaints

Our founder and President, Guy Nicholson, began his career renovating and maintaining older homes in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1980's. That experience taught him to take great pride in repainting homes which are not new and to keep them looking their best, and he passes that pride onto today's employees at Magic Brush Painting. We understand the unique challenges that come with repainting older homes and are dedicated to providing a superior painting experience for our clients.

Eco-Friendly Paints and Coatings

We have always been aware of the impact of the chemicals in paints and stains on the environment, and we have been on the cutting edge of dealing with those chemicals in a responsible fashion. Several years ago, we purchased a recycling machine for our warehouse which takes dirty paint thinner and cleans it for re-use. Today, we offer a wide range of environmentally friendly products to our clients. From the new water-borne stains, polyurethanes, and varnishes, to Low or even Zero VOC (volatile organic compounds), we are able to create a healthier job-site for our clients, our employees, and for the environment.

Decorative Finishes

Decorative finishing, sometimes referred to as "Faux Finishing, " is a term which includes a wide variety of applications of paints, stains, and varnishes, which produce a variety of different looks beyond the standard "one color in one sheen on a wall." Some examples of Decorative Finishes are: Plasters; Glazes; Murals; Trompe L'oeil; Wood graining; Marbleizing; Concrete Acid Staining. Magic Brush Painting has a number of skilled artisans available to do this type of work. We can create just about any finish you can imagine.
