Hilltop Home Care Inc. was founded on the principle of providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Locally owned and operated, we serve the South Wood County area with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Our journey began with Anita Whetstone, our owner and administrator, who dedicated her early career to home care, first as an aide for a Wisconsin Rapids agency and then as a caregiver for her own mother battling Alzheimer's disease. These experiences ignited a passion within Anita to create a supportive environment where individuals could thrive in their homes, surrounded by familiar comforts.

Driven by this passion, Anita opened her first assisted living facility nearly 30 years ago. Hilltop Affiliates Inc., our parent company, has since expanded to encompass four assisted living facilities, eachCatering to the unique needs of different client groups within the Wisconsin Rapids community. Anita's foundation of care is deeply rooted in her personal experience caring for her mother, Lenora Josephine. Even after Lenora's passing in 2004, Anita remains inspired by Lenora's legacy and commits herself daily to providing the same level of love and support to our clients.
