The company suggested and implemented changes that resulted in significant cost savings, which were then used to add architectural upgrades to the interior design. Administration

Michael Gilpin, President

As a Southeastern Kentucky native and resident, Michael Gilpin brings a depth of local knowledge and experience to Gilpin Construction Co. Michael graduated from London High School in 1965 and went on to attend the US Air Force Academy and Eastern Kentucky University. He earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and has been using his enhanced ability for precision and problem solving in construction ever since.

Michael began his construction career in 1969, pioneering his vision of owning and operating a general contracting firm in 1971. At the age of 22, he began working in residential construction full time. Four years later, at the age of 26, he laid out and placed the foundations for a 10,000 square foot elliptical building. This building, which became the home of a major automobile dealership, was just the beginning of Michael's successful construction career.
