Burton Forge and Gallery is a unique establishment that showcases the hand forged ironwork of artist blacksmith Dale Burton. Located in Knife River, MN, on the shores of Lake Superior, the gallery is a rustic, board-and-batten barn from the outside, but inside, it is transformed into a bright and elegant space with light walls, a timber frame, and beautiful pieces of art throughout. Every item in the gallery is hand made by Dale Burton, who also built the gallery and his shops using reclaimed timbers and reclaimed wood for the flooring.

First-time visitors are often surprised by the contrast between the exterior and interior of the gallery. The gallery is located 2 miles north of Knife River on North Shore Scenic Drive, with the physical address being 443 Scenic Drive Two Harbors, MN, and the mailing address being P.O. Box 113 Knife River, MN 55609. The gallery is open by appointment or whenever you see Dale's white truck parked in the lot.
