Lorien Music Lessons

Lorien Music Lessons is a music school that offers private violin and piano lessons in New Orleans and Mandeville area to both children and adults. Our mission is to provide a learning environment that will help each student build a solid musical foundation and develop long-range technical and musical skills. We believe that every student is unique, and as such, we design lessons specifically for each student through carefully structured plans that meet their individual needs. Our ultimate goal is to provide each student with instruction that nurtures their love of music.

Private Music Lessons

We provide weekly in-home lessons at a day and time that fits your schedule and availability. Our qualified instructors will come to your home and help you save time. For many students, their home is the best environment to take music lessons. That is why Lorien Music Lessons offers instruction in a safe, stress-free, and relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, the same environment in which you rehearse.

We offer piano lessons in classical, pop, and other musical styles. Our piano lessons include basic technique study and music theory, which are implemented in our weekly lessons to benefit the students in their journey of becoming piano performers. Additionally, we offer violin lessons to all ages and levels because we believe that music has a place in everyone's heart. At Lorien Music Lessons, we can help you be part of the magic of playing the violin. Being called "The Queen of the Instruments, " violin can move every emotion imaginable, and together with its great tone and technical abilities, violin is the instrument that can touch your soul no matter what type of music you perform on it. Our violin lessons aim to help students understand the music better and be passionate about it. We include music history that helps students relay better to the time the piece was written and information about the composer, the form, and the message that the music sends to the audience.

Program

Lorien Music Lessons offers private, in-home instruction to all ages and skill levels. Our learners can be from Pre-K all the way to college students and adults. We equally accommodate first-year beginners as well as the most advanced students. Depending on each student's skill level and area of interest, all lessons are tailored with custom-made lesson plans. Our instruction contains technical exercises, performance techniques, music theory, ear training, and other musical skills. We work hard to get the most out of our students' talent and focus on their future development and great performances.
