McCoy Funeral Home has a rich history of serving families in the Sweetwater, Texas community since 1946. The funeral home was originally established by A.O. Patterson, who returned from serving in World War II to open Patterson Funeral Home. In 1968, Melvin and Betty McCoy became partners in the business, and the name was changed to Patterson-McCoy Funeral Home. After the passing of Mr. Patterson in 1970, Melvin and Betty became the sole owners and changed the name to McCoy Funeral Home. Today, the business is owned by Melvin and Betty's son, Dan McCoy, and son-in-law, Danny Wann. For over 75 years, McCoy Funeral Home has been a family-owned and operated business, dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized service to every family they serve.
