Chassahowitzka River Campground

Located just a short walk from the stunning Chassahowitzka River, our campground is the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. With over 20 years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional RV and tent camping experiences amidst the breathtaking scenery of Florida.

RV Camping

Our RV camping area features 30 or 50-amp electrical service, sewer connections, and spigots for potable water. Each site is also equipped with fire rings, picnic tables, and a groved concrete surface for easy launching of boats. To ensure a comfortable stay, our RV sites are partially shaded with mature oaks, cedars, pines, and palms. Good Sam's RV membership saves 10% on RV reservations, making it an excellent option for RV enthusiasts. We also allow up to two pets per site with no additional charge, provided you email us updated shot records to chasscamp@gmail.com. Pets will not be permitted without up-to-date vaccination records.

Primitive Tent Camping

For those who prefer a more rustic experience, our primitive tent camping area offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature. Each site features fire rings and picnic tables, with 6 communal water spigots available for your convenience. Keep in mind that electricity is not available at the individual sites, but communal water spigots are provided.

Amenities

Our camp store is stocked with everything you need for camping, fishing, snacking, and amusement. It also features a local crafts/art area within the store. You can also expect to find postcards and other souvenirs branded with the Chassahowitzka River Campground moniker.

Boat Rentals and Water Activities

Take advantage of our kayak and boat rentals to explore the stunning Chassahowitzka River and its many springs and creeks. If you prefer to bring your own vessel, you can launch from our boat ramp, which is big enough for two vessels at once. Enjoy the scenic views and wildlife watching opportunities from our riverside dock area.

Playground and Picnic Areas

We have a new, fenced-in playground for children to enjoy, while you can relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We also offer ample picnic seating and benches, perfect for catching up with family and friends while taking in the stunning views.

Office/Store

Stop by our office/store to stock up on supplies, snacks, and souvenirs. You can also find postcards and other items branded with the Chassahowitzka River Campground moniker.

Kayak Storage Rental

Secure your kayak up to 18 feet long in our rental lockers. Rent them daily, weekly, or monthly, and enjoy the convenience of leaving your kayak close to the water.

Firewood and Parking

We offer large, seasoned, dry firewood bundles for your convenience. We also have a large paved parking lot with a small fee for parking vehicles with or without trailers.

WiFi Signals

Stay connected with our WiFi signals broadcasting throughout the RV camping area and riverside dock area. Enjoy high-speed internet and streaming capabilities like Netflix.
