Our Company History

Hoying Construction Inc. is a small contractor company owned and operated by Terry Hoying. Terry is a graduate of Minster High School and the son of Nicholas and Joyce Hoying of Minster, Ohio. Nick owned and operated N.J. Hoying Construction, Inc. for over 35 years, where Terry gained most of his experience in construction. With a degree in Applied Science in Architectural Engineering from ITT Technical Institute, Terry has designed homes, buildings, and addition/remodeling projects for various area builders and developers. He has been employed by various field-related companies such as Sidney Building Supply, Ahrens Custom Builders, and Mesco Electric. In 2000, Terry and his wife, Jenny, along with their two children, Mitchell and Kennedy, built a new home in New Bremen and returned to the family business. In 2003, Terry took over the operational duties of N.J. Hoying Construction, Inc. until 2007 when his father retired. Terry and Jenny then began Hoying Construction Inc., picking up where N.J. Hoying Construction, Inc. left off.
