Our journey began over 35 years ago, when Lorin Backe, our founder and chief photographer, started his career in photography. Having grown up in a family of photographers, Lorin was exposed to the art of photography from a young age. His passion for photography only grew stronger as he honed his skills, and he soon opened his own studio in Southern California.

1. First, we'll take you on a sunset photo-shoot at beautiful Laguna Beach.
2. Next, you'll schedule a date to view your photos in our studio, where you'll review a slideshow and choose your favorite photos to order.
3. Finally, pick up your new portrait! Orders typically take 2-3 weeks to be edited, perfected, and printed.
