Comprehensive Community

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation has been a trusted name in the healthcare industry since its inception in 1907. What started as a shelter for 25 indigent men and women has now evolved into a nationally recognized non-profit center for the health care and rehabilitation of adults. Our mission is to provide, with compassion and dedication, superior quality health care and rehabilitation for adults. Through continual improvement of our programs and services, we strive to be a leader in health care delivery and education.

Our History

Over the years, we have expanded our services to meet the growing needs of our community. Today, we offer a range of services, including Sub-Acute Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care and Nursing Facility, Palliative Care, and Community Health Services. We also have a dedicated Indian Cultural Unit and a NYS Safe Sharps Collection Program. Our Comprehensive Community Hospice provides comfort, relief, and peace of mind to individuals with advanced or life-limiting illness and their families.

Community Health Services

Our Community Health Services are designed to provide comprehensive care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Parker at Your Door offers physician-led health care, diagnostic testing, chronic care management, wellness resources, and telemedicine services. We also offer a range of support services, including Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands, and Hope and Healing. Our community health services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.
