We are thrilled to celebrate our 40th year in business, having taught martial arts at our studio and through community schools in the area since 1984. As the oldest and most respected martial arts school in Romeo, Michigan, Washington Township, and the surrounding areas, we take great pride in being a family-owned and operated business with a reputation built on excellence. Our Programs

At TNT Martial Arts, we are committed to providing quality martial arts instruction to students aged 4 through adult, promoting physical and mental benefits. Our classes include:

• Karate: Our karate program focuses on discipline, respect, and self-confidence, emphasizing self-defense techniques and full-contact sparring.

• Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: With an emphasis on ground fighting and submission holds, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program teaches students to effectively defend themselves against larger, stronger opponents.

• Self-Defense: Our self-defense program is designed to equip students with practical skills to protect themselves in various real-world situations.

• Lions, Tigers & Bears: Our unique youth program, Lions, Tigers & Bears, offers age-specific classes for children aged 4-6, 7-9, and 10-13. These classes promote physical fitness, discipline, and focus while fostering a sense of community and teamwork.

Our Studio

Located in beautiful, historic downtown Romeo, our studio spans over 6,000 square feet, making it one of the largest martial arts facilities in Michigan. We take great pride in our historic building, originally constructed as a church in 1853, and have meticulously restored and expanded it to offer a welcoming and functional space. Our studio boasts two training areas, two parent viewing areas, a pro shop, central air-conditioning, and separate men's and women's restrooms.

Our main training area, over 1700 square feet, features state-of-the-art Zebra training mats for maximum comfort, safety, and cleanliness. The 18' high ceilings allow for a variety of weapons training, while parents and spectators can enjoy viewing classes in comfort from the balcony overlooking the main floor. Our second training area, on the lower level, spans just over 1200 square feet, and features a floating wood floor covered with Zebra training mats, free-standing heavy bags, a small pro shop, and a spectator viewing area.
