Healthy Pet Products is an independently-owned local pet supply store operated by five humans and their many dogs. Founded in 2011 by Ben Huber, Elsie Lampl, Heather Blum, and Cole Wolfson, we opened our first 600 sq ft retail store in Shadyside with a mission to provide Pittsburgh-area pet owners access to knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of healthy, natural foods, treats, and supplies for dogs and cats. In 2025, we expanded by acquiring the local chain Healthy Pet Products, adding three additional stores in McCandless, McMurray, and Cranberry.Our team includes long-time employee Allison Stetz, who joined the ownership team in 2016. We specialize in raw feeding and offer brands not available elsewhere in the Pittsburgh area. Our staff provides expert nutritional counseling for pets with special dietary needs, including senior pets, puppies/kittens, and working dogs. We host frequent promotions and loyalty programs while maintaining a commitment to community through in-kind donations and partnerships with local rescues.

Our Astro Frequent Buyer Program offers rewards for repeat purchases across multiple product categories. Local Delivery
Available at our East Liberty location, our local delivery service brings pet supplies directly to customers' homes.
