Our founder, Matthew Wakefield, started his journey in the world of hardwood flooring in 1997, working with a highly respected company in Philadelphia that was established in 1914. Over the next 12 years, Matthew honed his skills and was mentored by true pioneer artisans of the trade while working in numerous historic homes in Philadelphia and New York. In 2009, Matthew followed his heart to Florida, where his craftsmanship is now proudly featured in many notable homes in the Tampa Bay area.
